Meet The Doctors

Drs. James & Melissa Ferry

Dr. Melissa Ann Ferry

Dr. Melissa Ferry grew up in Owego, a small town in Upstate New York, not far from Dr. James, where she spent the first 28 years of her life.  After realizing her passion to work with children while tutoring at a local elementary school during her high school years, she decided to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher.  She attended a local community college for 2 years and then transferred to SUNY Cortland where she majored in Elementary Education and obtained her Bachelor's and Master's of Science, as well as a Special Education Certificate.  She taught children of all needs ranging from 2nd-5th grade in NY, SC, and GA.

After teaching for 10 years, as well as having several life-changing experiences, Dr. Melissa recognized she wanted to serve children and others in a different way. This lead her to a career in Chiropractic.  Her passion is to work with pregnant women and children.

"My utmost desire is to empower people to be the best version of themselves; to foster gratitude and growth, which are essential elements to create a positive life experience."

Dr. James Le Roy Ferry

Dr. James Ferry grew up in Upstate New York in a very small town called Apalachin. He spent years in the culinary world and attended the Culinary Institute of Charleston to pursue a culinary degree. While attending he decided to make a major career change and 1 year later graduated from Trident Technical College as a Massage Therapist. After practicing as a licensed massage therapist for 4 years in a chiropractic office, he decided he wanted to do more for his patients and decided to attend chiropractic school at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs South Carolina to learn more about the human body and the body's innate potential for health and wellness.

Dr. J is very passionate and knowledgeable about the human body, how the body should function, how everything that happens to the body is interrelated and how chiropractic can heal, build and restore one's health.

Being an evidence-based chiropractor is extremely important to him, and he believes using the most current advances in technology to analyze the spine is important in obtaining the best results for his patients.

"One of the things I pride myself with is how detail oriented I am and how I leave no stone unturned when it comes to delivering quality care to my patients."
